Global Rebrand
The Nissan logo refresh is the first update in 20 years.
The overall intention was to transition from a hard-edged,
industrial and automotive look to a refined, familiar and digital-friendly design.
The Reveal Film
The Concept Film - Tech That Moves
The design team at Nissan transformed the logo into the car badge form, lighting up whenever the key is detected. The logo also springs to life on every touch points inside of the car.
The Launch Film - New Dawn
The logo was launched in with the all new Nissan Ariya via a digital event.
The logo was revealed through a film citing the dawn of a new day for Nissan Motor Company.
Through this film we introduced a system that allows for contextual mnemonic expressions
- the logo can be made from Cherry Blossoms around the Hanami or in winter can be expressed through snowflakes.
